The Studio

Studio Bond is a design studio based in Oxford, specialising in homes for those who value thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship.

We know that no two homes are the same. Each one has its own proportions, character and light. Through a contemporary lens, we design spaces that reflect the people who live in them, their stories, interests and values. Wherever possible, we restore rather than replace, blending the old with the new and leaving room for the next chapter to unfold.

Our spaces are understated, elegant and carefully considered. We pay close attention to colour, texture and materials, weaving them together to form a cohesive whole. The result is a home with quiet symbolism and meaning, tailored to the life it holds.

The founder

Juneko Gardner-Bond is the founder and lead designer at Studio Bond, where she brings a quietly refined approach to interior architecture and design.

Her career began in fashion, with over a decade working for renowned names such as Asprey, Dover Street Market and Harvey Nichols. As a Buyer, she developed a finely tuned eye for detail, understanding fabric, colour and proportion. This experience continues to inform her interior work, where the same principles of balance, quality and curation apply.

After relocating from London to Oxfordshire in 2019 and studying Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art, Juneko founded Studio Bond to create homes that are elegant, understated and deeply personal. She believes that how we furnish our homes is a form of self-expression, not unlike how we dress.

Juneko´s work draws on the character of each building and its setting, layering natural materials, curated colour and meaningful objects to create spaces that feel both elevated and lived in.

Studio Bond is driven by Juneko’s belief in function without excess, beauty without pretence, and the idea that the most successful spaces are those that allow life to unfold with ease.

The approach

At Studio Bond, our approach is rooted in empathy, clarity and respect, for the people we design for and the buildings we work with.

We begin each project by listening. Every home holds its own history, proportions and light, and rather than impose a signature style or follow fleeting trends, we respond to what’s already there, drawing from the building’s vernacular and the client’s values to create something layered and deeply personal.

We believe a home should reflect the people who live in it. Our process is collaborative and considered, guiding clients with warmth and honesty to help them make confident, meaningful decisions. Whether restoring original details or introducing new elements, we aim to balance function and beauty, simplicity and richness.

Design classics might sit next to vintage finds or bespoke pieces made by local craftspeople. Each choice is intentional, selected for its quality, symbolism or sense of place.

The result is a home that feels timeless and entirely one of a kind. Not just somewhere to live, but a space that quietly enhances daily life.

our commitmenT

Sustainability is woven into everything we do at Studio Bond.

We believe that good design should be thoughtful, not only in how it looks and functions, but in how it’s made and where it comes from.

We prioritise working with local craftspeople and independent businesses, supporting our community while reducing environmental impact. Wherever possible, we choose sustainable materials, whether that’s reclaimed timber for joinery, low-impact finishes, or natural textiles that age gracefully.

Our aim is to create enduring spaces that are both beautiful and responsible. Every decision is made with care, balancing aesthetics, longevity, and a conscious respect for the world around us.
