Studio Bond was appointed to reimagine the identity of a contemporary art gallery, moving it away from the traditional ‘white box’ model and towards a more welcoming, home-like environment. The brief called for a space where visitors could connect with the artwork in a setting that reflected the character and aspirations of their own homes.
A warm, earthy palette, sympathetic to the local heritage, was used throughout to define inviting zones within a flexible, multi-purpose space designed to support both gallery and retail functions.
The design needed to support a growing retail proposition, so flexibility was key. The layout was carefully planned to accommodate evolving business needs, allowing the gallery to expand into retail while preserving a calm, cohesive environment. Colours were curated in close collaboration with The Art Buyer to complement the selected artworks, with a bold taupe used on the façade setting the tone for the rest of the space. This palette continues throughout the building, bringing warmth and flow to each room. The consultation area was designed as a relaxed, informal setting, offering visitors a comfortable space to engage with the art in a more personal way.

kind words
“Her approach was meticulous, patient, and deeply considered. The result is a cohesive, elevated space that consistently draws compliments from visitors."
“We turned to Juneko at Studio Bond to help realise our vision for a second contemporary art gallery and reflect our brand’s evolution as the business expanded.
The challenge was to transform a two-storey Victorian/Edwardian building beside Hampton Court Palace into a bright, modern space for showcasing contemporary art—while honouring the heritage of the area. The original dark grey façade felt disconnected from our refreshed identity and the experience we wanted to create.
Juneko took the time to understand our brief, visited the site, and carried out extensive research. She presented a range of elegant, thoughtful ideas that ultimately shaped the interiors now central to our brand and visitor experience.
Her approach was meticulous, patient, and deeply considered. From planning the zonal colour palette to selecting finishes, Juneko guided us through every step with care and precision. The result is a cohesive, elevated space that consistently draws compliments from visitors.
Her final design now forms a core part of our brand identity and has elevated the visitor experience in ways we hadn’t imagined. We couldn’t have achieved this transformation without Juneko’s creative vision and supportive, methodical approach. I wholeheartedly recommend Studio Bond to anyone seeking interiors that are both beautiful and brand-aligned."
